Who are we?

Our society is a student body aiming to promote intellectual, academic, and cultural activities among students of our Department and help them foster their overall development.

What we do?

The society organizes a variety of departmental events, including Happy Hours, Technical Workshops, Freshers Party, Alumni Talks, Farewell Party, Sports Tournaments, Higher Studies Sessions, and the Chemical Engineering Fest- ‘EXERGY’.

What we achieve?

We help students identify campus resources and foster harmonious relationships among the students, faculty, and alumni of the CHE department and ensure that there is no communication gap between them

Farewell and Freshers

The society organizes a wide range of activities for the benefit of the Chemical department community at IITK. These activities range from fun-filled Happy-Hours to large Symposiums.


Happy Hours

Happy Hours are organized by the Chemineers Society which serve as a means to boost the interaction of students with professors as well as a means to get to know more seniors.

Simutech Projects and Blogs

Simutech Projects and Blogs

Projects are offered by the Mentors of Chemineers Society to enhance the skills and prepare students for incoming intership season.

Exergy

Exergy is a pan-India Chemical Engineering Fest organized by the Chemineers Society, IIT Kanpur. This fest includes workshops, poster presentations and talks from renowed chemical engineers.
